We are a Bi-Weekly challenge blog that will play for fun most weeks. Occasionally there will be a prize given away to one lucky challenge participant. The prizes will come from my scrappy supply online store: The Paper Trail or other sponsors and will be announced with the challenge so that you know if it is a prize challenge or not. Challenges will be announced on two Sundays during the month and you will have until the last day of the month to link your project to that challenge.Thank you for joining us in our journey of leaving behind a paper trail of us for our future generations.

A Boy and His Dog - by Sara

Today I am here to share with you a layout I created based on the current challenge "Thats So Yesterday"!  I was able to use some amazing vintage products from the store for this challenge.  My first inspiration with the vintage photo of the boy and his dog from The Paper Loft - these comes in different themes they are called Storybook Pages (one of my favorites from the store).  Then I pulled together some paper from Little Yellow Bicycle (Clothesline Line),  Bella BLVD (Camped Out Line) and a die cut paper from Jenni Bowlin.  I love these papers! Some of them were double sided so I got was able to had a bit more for the same price!  I cut the photos and the story book page all down to the same size to create this look.   Once I was done with the layout of the page I added this amazing chipboard flowers and circles from Lily Bee Designs - they are actually from the Christmas Town collection but they can be used for so much more!   Be sure to visit The Paper Trail today to get your hands on these products before they are gone!

  2. I really like this - love that you mixed lines, and that you used something from a Christmas line! Great pics, too - I'm so impressed that you got the dog looking at the camera every time!
